Dr. Shokouh Abadi is a dual-licensed lawyer, a solicitor and barrister in Ontario, Canada and founder of KIMEG Law.
She has extensive experience in business law, international commercial law, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering in different countries.
Shokouh has a rich teaching background and has taught at universities in different jurisdictions. Her expertise extends beyond traditional academia, as she has also designed and conducted a series of Business Law Boot Camps specifically tailored for entrepreneurs. Through these programs, she aims to support startups and small businesses, especially women in business, and increase access to justice.
Beyond her legal practice, she is deeply passionate about research and has contributed to the field. She has delivered papers and talks in numerous countries. Her recent accomplishment includes a TEDx talk on the interconnectedness of justice and happiness.
She holds law degrees from multiple jurisdictions across different continents, including a Ph.D. in International Business Law from King’s College London University, England.
Shokouh has recently received the Women Entrepreneur Award 2023 for her dedication in supporting women entrepreneurs with her legal practice and business law teachings.
With her visionary approach and commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, especially women in business, and administration of justice, her goal is to make a lasting impact on the community.
